Doctors thought it may be a tumour, but when they went inside to do a biopsy, they found a 5cm Fir sapling growing in his lungs instead! Here's where the plan may fall apart... If it is growing in the dark, how can it be so green? If a seed was ingested, how did it receive light to germinate? Is the body an ideal growing condition for a cold-adapted tree species? According to the internet this morning, it was verified that the story ran on what would be considered April Fool's Day according to the Russian Julian calendar, so who knows...I hate being a skeptic!
