Grow Op in Sundance...

I've decided that perhaps having a grow light glowing through my front window probably gathers unnecessary attention from the outside world, so my little seeds will have to go into the basement. I don't need the neighbors asking any more questions than they already do!!
Questions I should have asked:

1. Does a grow light stay on 24/7?
2. Why are seeds so damn small and the color of the soil, so that when you inadvertently drop a handful of them into the soil, you can't see them? That would have been a good question to ask...

I'm sure there will be lots of other questions in the next few weeks. For now, I'm actually excitedly anticipating seeing life emerge from the soil. The kit has been a great purchase - even for rookies like me...carpe diem
